The icepick was born from the idea of showing the next generation that they can make a practical and positive impact.
OUR MISSION
Unser Ziel ist es Einwegmüll zu stoppen.
Obwohl Holz- oder Bambusbesteck kompostierbar und umweltfreundlicher ist als Plastik, landen die meisten dieser Artikel doch gleich nach dem Gebrauch im Müll und damit meist auf der Deponie oder in der Verbrennung.
Wir sehen das Abholzen zur Materialgewinnung und die Energie benötigt zur Produktion, Lieferung und Entsorgung dieser Produkte als Ressourcenverschwendung.
Mit dem icepick positionieren wir uns klar gegen Wegwerfbesteck jeder Art. Er ist nachhaltig, passt in jede Tasche und kann ohne schlechtes Gewissen benutzt werden.
Da wir versuchen unseren ‘CO2-Fußabdruck‘ so klein wie möglich zu halten, erstreckt sich unsere Produktion lokal auf den Kieler Umkreis.
